The Mercia Volunteers welcomes members of the Marina and the surrounding communities to support the Wildlife aims and goals of Mercia Marina and the nearby stretch of the Trent & Mersey Canal. Activities take place every couple of weeks for a few hours and individuals are free to help those days they can. It may be putting up bird boxes, helping build an otter holt, planting a butterfly drift or litter picking. Or you may like to help with our butterfly and bird surveys which take place on several occasions. Or an evening/overnight helping with bat and moth surveys?

If you would like to be involved, please get in touch with the Marina Office, leaving your name and contact details for Jules Aucott. Or get in touch through the Contact page on this website (under “Pages”).
